Kylie Jenner is set to headline and executive produce Bachelorette Weekend (working title), a thriller drama finalising a straight-to-series order at Hulu, meaning no pilot is filmed first.

Deadline reported on 5 October 2026 that Hulu has moved pre-emptively to take the project off the market. The deal is still being negotiated. That is common in television. A buyer can commit to a full series before contracts close.

The story starts with a celebration that turns deadly. Jenner plays the bride. She is murdered in the pool during her bachelorette weekend, and her closest girlfriends become suspects.

The series was created for television by author-screenwriter Lauren Oliver, who also wrote the adaptation. It is based on an unpublished book by Flora Collins that was developed by Oliver's StoryGiants.

Behind the camera, the producing team is a family affair. Jenner, her sister Kim Kardashian, Oliver and Aaron Kaplan are executive producers, with Jaiden Kaplan as co-executive producer. Kapital Entertainment, Aaron Kaplan's company, is co-studio alongside 20th Television.

The route to Hulu runs through Kardashian. The project was pitched through her first-look deal at 20th Television, meaning the studio gets first chance to take up ideas she brings forward. Hulu then stepped in early to stop other buyers bidding, according to Deadline.

For fans, this means a different kind of screen role for Jenner. She is known for reality television and business. Here she would carry a scripted murder mystery as both star and producer, alongside Kardashian as a producer off screen.
