Slayyyter Announces WOR$T MAN IN AMERICA for Dec. 4

Slayyyter will release WOR$T MAN IN AMERICA on Dec. 4 via RECORDS/Columbia Records. The nine-track album was announced on Monday, Oct. 5, as reported by Billboard. The announcement set out the title, the track count and the release date together. It arrives less than a year after her last full-length set.
The new record is described as a "brother" album to Slayyyter's third studio album, WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA. The idea is direct. It revisits the sounds, themes and ideas of that album from an inverse perspective. The title keeps the same stylised spelling, with a dollar sign in place of the S.
Two of the nine songs are already in circulation. "Brand New Chanel$" was officially released in July. "Crank 2" followed in September. Both tracks are now confirmed as album songs.
Both look back to the previous album. "Brand New Chanel$" is a fresh take on "Beat Up Chanel$" from WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA. "Crank 2" is a fresh take on "Crank" from the same record.
The early releases have already registered on the charts. "Brand New Chanel$" gave Slayyyter her first appearance on the Billboard Hot 100, the United States chart that ranks the most popular songs each week. Her previous album, WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA, reached No. 1 on Billboard's Top Dance Albums chart, which measures the most popular dance and electronic albums in the US.
Tour audiences got a preview before the announcement. Slayyyter debuted "Brand New Chanel$," "Nekromantik!" and "I Think He's Got a Girl" on the opening night of the WOR$T GIRL IN THE WORLD Tour in Missouri in July. All three songs appear on the track list for WOR$T MAN IN AMERICA. She later closed the North American leg of the tour at the Brooklyn Paramount in New York.
For fans, this means several ways to follow the countdown. Her official shop lists a limited-edition 1LP fireworks splatter vinyl edition of the new album Slayyyter's official shop, alongside a two-disc vinyl set Slayyyter's official shop that pairs WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA with wor$t man in america. Her official music page also lists pre-saves for the album on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and iTunes.
