Warhammer Survivors will be released on November 10, 2026.

The date was confirmed alongside a free trial version of the game. That demo is available now for PC on Steam, the computer game storefront, as reported by IGN.

The full game will launch across almost every major platform. It is planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, the original Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, PC and mobile, according to IGN.

It will be priced at US$7.99 / £6.39 / €7.49 at launch, as reported by Gematsu. That puts it at the budget end of new releases. There is no separate pricing yet for different storefronts.

Warhammer Survivors is a survivors-style game, a genre where your character attacks on their own and you focus on steering, dodging and choosing upgrades while enemies swarm. Runs are short. The hook is chaos on screen.

The roster leans on familiar faces. The game features more than 40 playable champions drawn from two Warhammer settings: Warhammer 40,000, the futuristic science-fantasy universe, and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, its sword-and-sorcery counterpart.

It comes from the developers behind Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, the fast-paced retro shooter released in 2023. That team has experience with the setting. This is a change of pace, from a first-person shooter to top-down survival.

For newcomers, this means no prior Warhammer knowledge is required. Pick a favourite champion, survive the waves, learn the build system as you go.
