Peacock has released the full trailer for The Good Daughter, its upcoming mystery starring Rose Byrne and Meghann Fahy as sisters. All six episodes will stream on Nov. 12, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The show is a limited series, meaning it is built as one self-contained story rather than an ongoing drama with multiple seasons. Fahy plays Charlotte Quinn. Byrne plays Samantha Quinn.

It adapts the bestselling novel of the same name by Karin Slaughter. Slaughter is also the showrunner, the person who leads the writers and oversees the series day to day, and she writes and executive-produces.

Peacock describes the series as a suspenseful thriller wrapped in a deeply emotional story about love and family, per its official teaser notes on YouTube. That teaser, titled "The Good Daughter | Official Teaser | Peacock Original," arrived in September ahead of the full trailer.

The wider cast includes Olivia Williams, Harper Steele, Michael Dorman, Audrey Grace Marshall and Drew Cheek. Brendan Gleeson is also in the cast, Peacock confirmed in its earlier cast announcement on Peacock.

The series is produced by Made Up Stories in partnership with Fifth Season. Peacock lists The Good Daughter Season 1 in its Fall 2026 line-up on Peacock.

For fans, this means no weekly wait. Six episodes. One drop. The whole story lands at once.
