New tributes are entering the arena. The Hunger Games On Stage has released first-look rehearsal photos of a new company joining the London production from 23 October 2026.

Elizabeth Anderson will play Katniss Everdeen. She stars alongside Vinnie Copeland as Peeta Mellark and Nathan Stokes as Gale Hawthorne. The photos, reported by WhatsOnStage, catch the new leads in rehearsal ahead of the changeover.

The Everdeen family is recast too. Daisy Statham will play Prim, Katniss's younger sister. Alix Dunmore will play Mrs Everdeen. Both appear in the new rehearsal images.

The Capitol line-up also changes. Isabel Della-Porta will play Effie Trinket. Theo Ogundipe will play Cinna. Neil McDermott will play Haymitch Abernathy. Daniel Brocklebank will play Caesar Flickerman.

One face stays the same. John Malkovich continues in the role of President Snow on screen. The rehearsal photos are credited to photographer Danny Kaan.

The production is now playing at Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre in London, according to the official show site. It is presented as the first-ever theatre adaptation of Suzanne Collins's book and the Lionsgate motion picture. The stage version is adapted by Conor McPherson and directed by Matthew Dunster.

The show keeps an official online gallery of production photos and behind-the-scenes imagery. Earlier rehearsal coverage had featured a previous company. That group included Mia Carragher as Katniss, Tristan Waterson as Gale Hawthorne, Sophia Ally as Primrose Everdeen, Ruth Everett as Mrs Everdeen and Tamsin Carroll as Effie.

For fans, this means a clear handover date. The new group steps in together on 23 October. Same arena. New Katniss.
