Rachel Bilson and Scott Foley will star in Jingle Bells Wedding Bells, Vizio's new original holiday film. It will premiere exclusively on WatchFree+ this holiday season, Deadline reported.

Vizio detailed the film on Wednesday during Advertising Week in New York. The announcement formed part of a wider content expansion. Walmart acquired the TV maker in 2024.

The film is produced by ITV America Nashville and Happy Accidents. Insurance brand Geico is the presenting sponsor for the premiere.

WatchFree+ is Vizio's free streaming service, built into its smart TVs and free to watch with adverts. It now carries more than 45,000 film and TV titles. It also offers more than 400 live and local channels.

Vizio said it is deepening programme supply ties with MGM, NBCUniversal, Disney, A&E and A24. New library titles arriving this autumn include The Good Doctor, Chicago Fire, Law & Order, Property Brothers and Little House on the Prairie. They add familiar network dramas and lifestyle favourites to the free shelf.

The expansion also leans on online creators. More than 40 creator-led FAST channels, meaning free channels that run like live TV with ad breaks, are bound for WatchFree+. They span comedy, food, gaming, family, lifestyle, sports and travel.

Named channels include MrBeast, Hot Ones, Ryan Trahan, Nick DiGiovanni, Sam and Colby and Uncle Roger. The list also features Celine Dept, The Royalty Family, Ben Azelart, Preston Playz, Rebecca Zamolo and Preston Playz's circle. It is a straight push for younger viewers who already follow those names on video platforms.

Another creator-led original, Holiday Chocolate Workshop, will centre on chocolatier Amaury Guichon.

On scale, Vizio said its operating system now reaches 32 million yearly active devices. That is up 20% year on year. Viewing hours on WatchFree+ are up 58% year on year, according to internal data.

For viewers, this means more free choice without another subscription. One new holiday romance. More library box sets. And a long run of creator channels that cost nothing beyond the ad breaks.
