Verity Power will play Eliza Doolittle opposite Alan Cumming as Professor Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady at Pitlochry Festival Theatre.

Complete casting has been announced for the new revival, which runs in the theatre's Auditorium from 21 November to 31 December 2026. The press night, the performance staged for critics, is set for 27 November at 6pm, according to WhatsOnStage.

The production is directed by Maria Friedman. It is presented by Pitlochry Festival Theatre in association with Sonia Friedman Productions.

It will close Alan Cumming's inaugural season as artistic director. That puts a big musical at the end of his first year in charge.

Joining Power and Cumming in the principal company are Martin Ball as Colonel Pickering and Alexander Newland as Alfred P. Doolittle. Juliet Cadzow plays Mrs Pearce, Julie Legrand plays Mrs Higgins and Alex James-Hatton plays Freddy Eynsford-Hill.

The wider company includes Loren Anderson, Mairi Barclay, Zachary Barlow, Daisy Barnett, C J Benoiton, Robert Donnelly, Reuben Khan, James Probert, Thomas Sutcliffe, Scott Waugh and Lizzie Wofford. They take ensemble, swing and cover roles.

Daisy Barnett will cover Eliza Doolittle. C J Benoiton is onstage swing and cover for the role, meaning an onstage cast member who can also step into Eliza's track at short notice.

The creative team includes designer Tim Hatley, choreographer Ashley Nottingham and lighting designer Neil Austin. Musical supervision is by Joel Fram, with Ben Kubiak as musical director and Alexios Priftis as orchestrator. Casting is by Natalie Gallacher for Pippa Ailion and Natalie Gallacher Casting.

Venue listings confirm the Auditorium staging for the 21 November to 31 December run, according to Pitlochry Festival Theatre.

For audiences planning ahead, this is a Christmas-season run. It plays through late November and all of December in Highland Perthshire.
