The cast of Revenge is getting back together. The ATX TV Festival has set 3-6 June 2027 in Austin, Texas, for its 16th season, with early reunions and anniversaries now confirmed, as reported by Variety.

The theme for 2027 is “Sweet 16”. The festival will mark shows turning 16 and put the spotlight on coming-of-age and teen and young adult storytelling.

Revenge fits the brief. The ABC drama debuted in 2011. Creator Mike Kelley will reunite in Austin with cast members Emily VanCamp, Josh Bowman, Henry Czerny, Ashley Madekwe, Gabriel Mann, Connor Paolo and Nick Wechsler.

Freaks and Geeks gets its own moment. The festival will stage a script reading, meaning actors perform an episode script live, followed by a conversation on the show’s influence.

Another anniversary looks back further. Oz turns 30 in 2027. Creator Tom Fontana will appear with cast members Rita Moreno, Lee Tergesen and Dean Winters to celebrate the prison drama, which was HBO’s first-ever hour-long drama.

There is a new face in the line-up too. Casting director Alison Jones will join the festival for the first time in 2027. Casting directors find and select actors, so her session should open up how ensembles come together.

New makers get a slot as well. The festival is bringing back its Indie TV Pilot Competition for a second year, with Macaroni Art Productions as strategic partners. A pilot is the first episode made to sell a series.

Entries are open to pilots of 20 to 65 minutes across all genres, according to the festival. The regular submission fee is $65 per pilot.

For fans, this means early plans can start now. More panels will follow. The first names are about finished stories and the people who built them.
