Princess Ingrid Alexandra to Return to Sydney Studies in February

Crown Princess Ingrid Alexandra is heading back to Australia.
The Norwegian Royal Palace says the princess will return to Sydney in February to continue her university studies, after spending the fall semester in Oslo, according to Town & Country.
She is working toward a bachelor's degree in international relations and political economy at the University of Sydney. It is a three-year program she started in August 2025, after moving to Sydney in late July 2025, according to Nine.
Her time at home this fall was part of that same degree. In autumn 2026, she enrolled at the University of Oslo's Faculty of Social Sciences as an exchange student from Sydney, according to the Norwegian Royal House.
Before she ever left for Australia, the princess completed 15 months of military training with Norway's Engineer Battalion. The Royal House announced on July 25, 2025, that she was ready to start at Sydney.
The princess was born at Rikshospitalet in Oslo on Jan. 21, 2004. She is 22.
What makes this stand out is the commute. Most royal students pick one campus and stay put. Ingrid Alexandra is doing both, with Sydney as her home school and Oslo as her exchange stop.
