Zaha Hadid's London Studio to Reopen as Public Arts Space

Zaha Hadid's former London headquarters is reopening as a public arts space.
The Zaha Hadid Foundation in London confirmed the plan for 10 Bowling Green Lane in Clerkenwell. The reopening comes ten years after Hadid's passing, according to Designboom.
The address is familiar to architects. It is her old studio. The building is a Victorian schoolhouse in Clerkenwell, central London, that served as Hadid's office and headquarters.
It will not stay a closed workplace. The Foundation said the building will hold spaces for exhibitions and lectures, as reported by Artforum. Visitors will be able to walk into rooms once used for design work and debate.
The first exhibition is titled "Zaha Hadid: Architecture of Performance". It is planned for 10 Bowling Green Lane in Clerkenwell, according to ARTnews. Details of dates and loans have not been published.
The Clerkenwell building is one half of the Foundation's footprint. The organisation is housed across two London buildings, at 10 Bowling Green Lane in Clerkenwell and at Shad Thames on the south bank of the River Thames, according to e-flux.
There is recent history of opening up. In June, the Architecture Foundation in London and the Zaha Hadid Foundation launched POST PRESS, a temporary event space, according to the Architects' Journal. That project created a short-term venue for talks and gatherings.
For fans, this means something simple. You will be able to stand where the work was made.
No ticket details or opening hours have been announced. The story so far is the building itself: a working studio turned public room for art, architecture and discussion.
