Princess of Wales holds second private Windsor meeting with Foundation chief

The Princess of Wales met privately with Sarah Henwood, Chief Executive of the Royal Foundation, at Windsor Castle on Wednesday morning.
No photographs were taken. The conversation was entirely private. It was the second meeting between the two women at Windsor in three days, after another on the previous Monday, Hello Magazine reported.
The Princess is joint patron of the Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales, the charity that organises much of her and the Prince of Wales's charitable work. Mrs Henwood took over as its chief executive in February. She succeeded Amanda Berry, who had held the post since 2022.
Mrs Henwood was previously known as Sarah Rose. She adopted the name Sarah Henwood on taking up the Foundation role.
The meeting was entered in the Court Circular, the official record of past royal engagements. That record is published by the Household and lists who the working royals received, and where. The entry notes that the Princess received Mrs Sarah Henwood, as chief executive, at Windsor Castle, according to the Court Circular.
Windsor has been a working base for the Princess this year. Her first solo engagement of 2026 was a celebratory reception at the Castle on 15 January. She hosted the women's rugby team and wore a red suit for the occasion, People reported.
What makes this stand out is the quiet form. A private audience leaves no pictures. It still leaves a line in the Circular. That line is the public trace of the patronage at work.
