Queen Mary of Denmark saved her boldest print for a 300-year-old church.

She joined King Frederik of Denmark for the anniversary of Fredensborg Castle Church. The church stands alongside Fredensborg Palace, the Danish monarch’s country residence. The palace was built as a country seat for King Frederik IV and is often used for important events in the royal family’s life.

For the celebration, the queen wore a black V-neck blouse with a gold-tone pleated maxi skirt. She finished the look with pointed Gianvito Rossi pumps in leopard print. She carried a matching leopard-print pouch by Prada, as detailed by Town & Country.

Leopard is not new for her. She has been photographed in a similar style of Gianvito Rossi leopard pumps as far back as 2014. In August, she wore leopard-print ballet flats for a visit to Momentet, a social-psychiatric facility run by the Deaconess Foundation.

The anniversary was a family affair. Queen Margrethe and Princess Benedikte joined the king and queen for a concert marking the church’s 300th year, according to the Danish Royal House. Fredensborg has long served that role, bringing the family together for milestones, services and summer stays.

The church celebration continued a relaxed run of Fredensborg dressing for the queen. In May, she arrived there with King Frederik in breezy trousers and Chanel ballet pumps. The shoes were priced at £910, about $1,220, as reported by Hello!. The trousers were cut wide and light, an easy choice for a palace arrival.

What makes this stand out is the balance. The blouse and metallic skirt stayed simple. The shoes and small bag did the work. Two familiar prints made a historic anniversary feel personal.
