Marvel Television reveals Zodiac logo and 2028 plan at Comic Con

Marvel Television has revealed the first logo for Zodiac, a live-action spy thriller planned for release in 2028.
The update came from Marvel Television chief Brad Winderbaum during the studio's television panel at New York Comic Con on 8 October, according to Variety. Live-action simply means filmed with real actors and sets, rather than animation. A spy thriller is a story built around espionage, covert missions and shifting loyalties.
Winderbaum said casting will begin in the next couple of weeks. No cast members were named in the report of the session. That makes the casting announcements the next concrete step in the project's public timeline.
Filming is scheduled to start in London in the spring. The production start is therefore set for more than a year before the planned 2028 release. The gap between shoot and release allows time for filming, editing and visual effects to be completed.
The announcement landed on the opening day of New York Comic Con 2026, which runs from 8 to 11 October at the Javits Center at 429 11th Ave in New York City, according to New York Comic Con. Marvel had organised a full programme for the convention, publishing details of its panels, booth appearances, offsite activities and cosplay gatherings in advance, according to Marvel. The television panel on Thursday, 8 October was listed as part of that line-up.
The Zodiac reveal follows earlier convention news from the summer season. Marvel used a Comic-Con appearance to unveil Ghost Rider and Black Panther 3, according to Reuters. That same report noted Disney's D23 fan convention was scheduled for 14 to 16 August 2026. The New York event has now shifted the focus to the small-screen slate.
For fans, this means patience is required. A logo and a release year show the series is organised and moving forward. The faces, characters and story will only come into view once casting is finalised and cameras start rolling in London.
