From Ashes to New have scored their second radio No. 1 as “Die for You” tops Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart dated 17 October. The song gives the band two chart-toppers in less than five months. The chart, which ranks songs by plays on mainstream rock radio, is due to update on Billboard’s website on 13 October Billboard.

“Die for You” rose 7% in plays during the 2-8 October tracking week, according to Luminate, the data company that feeds Billboard’s radio charts. The single was released in March via Better Noise Music. It is the fourth single from the band’s fifth studio album, Reflections, which arrived in April.

The result builds quickly on the band’s first breakthrough at radio. “Drag Me” led the same chart in May, recognised at the time as the group’s first No. 1 on a Billboard radio chart. From Ashes to New first appeared on Mainstream Rock Airplay in 2016 with “Through It All,” which peaked at No. 6. “Die for You” is their eighth top 10 on the chart.

Two No. 1s in one year puts the band in rare company. They are only the third act to earn multiple Mainstream Rock Airplay No. 1s in 2026. Shinedown leads that group with three No. 1s this year, followed by Three Days Grace with two.

The win also extends a strong run for Better Noise Music. “Die for You” is the label’s fourth No. 1 on the format in 2026, after The Funeral Portrait’s “Dark Thoughts” in January, From Ashes to New’s “Drag Me” and Five Finger Death Punch’s “Eye of the Storm” in July. That tally ties BMG for the most Mainstream Rock Airplay No. 1s of any label so far this year.

For fans, this means a short wait between chart-toppers has turned into a pattern. Better Noise led all labels on the chart in 2025 with five No. 1s and in 2024 with four. Billboard reports the label has now earned 24 No. 1s this decade, the most of any label. The band also released an official music video for “Die For You” in March Better Noise Music.
