Geordie Greep has cancelled four dates on his North American tour after an allegation of sexual misconduct in Vancouver, which he denies. The cancellations were reported on 10 October, after his show at the Pearl venue in Vancouver on 8 October, according to Rolling Stone.

The cancelled shows are in Boise, Idaho; Salt Lake City, Utah; Boulder, Colorado; and Denver, Colorado. Ticket buyers for those four dates were notified that their purchases had been refunded.

The allegation was circulated on flyers handed out outside the Vancouver venue. The flyers accused Greep of rape and referred to the morning of 8 October. A separate report noted the flyers were handed out by an attendee ahead of the concert.

Greep addressed the claim from the stage in Vancouver. He took the stage an hour late and without his backing band. He denies the claim.

He told the audience he had misread a situation at a late-night house party, made a move and then quickly apologised. He said he is not a rapist. His account of the exchange was also described in reports published on 9 and 10 October by Yahoo Entertainment and Consequence.

Greep said he played the Vancouver show solo because he did not want to force his band to play after the incident. Proceeds from that show were to go to a Vancouver organisation supporting victims of sexual violence.

Two dates on the North American tour had not been cancelled at press time. They are in Des Moines, Iowa, and Omaha, Nebraska. Greep is scheduled to begin a European tour on 1 November.
