Saracens beat Bristol Bears 30-7 at StoneX Stadium on Saturday to hand the visitors their first defeat of the 2026-27 Premiership season. The bonus-point victory was Saracens' second win of the campaign and earned them the full five league points BBC Sport.

Saracens led 11-0 at the break. Owen Farrell kicked two penalties to keep the scoreboard ticking, punishing Bristol each time they strayed offside or collapsed at the breakdown.

The tries were shared around. Winger Noah Caluori crossed, flanker Alex O'Driscoll scored his first Premiership try, and Jack Bracken also went over. Saracens were then awarded a penalty try, which is seven points given automatically by the referee when foul play stops a certain score, with no conversion kick needed.

Bristol had no answer for long stretches. Their only score came from scrum-half Harry Randall, who darted over from close range. It was a frustrating afternoon for the visitors in front of referee Anthony Woodthorpe.

The result keeps a stubborn record intact. Bristol have now failed to win in all eight of their Premiership visits to Saracens' home since reaching the top flight.

What makes this stand out is the spread of scorers. Farrell steered the game with the boot, while Caluori, O'Driscoll and Bracken supplied the cutting edge. Four tries or more also brings a bonus point, that extra table point that can decide playoff places come spring.

For fans, this means the early table has tightened. Bristol lose their perfect start. Saracens, with two wins banked, move firmly into the chase.
