Jack White reunites The Raconteurs on stage in Nashville

Jack White brought The Raconteurs back to the stage in Nashville on 10 October, calling his bandmates out for the encore of his solo show.
Singer and guitarist Brendan Benson, bassist Jack Lawrence and drummer Patrick Keeler joined White to close the night. Keeler did not have far to walk. He has been playing in White's touring band, so he was already on stage for the main set.
The show was the second of two nights at the venue The Truth in Nashville. It was the group's first live performance together since December 2019, Pitchfork reported.
The reunited four played five songs. The list was "Steady, As She Goes," "Hands," "Level," "Broken Boy Soldier" and "Carolina Drama."
White had warned fans that something was coming. Earlier in the week he wrote on Instagram that Raconteurs fans should grab tickets because "there might be a little surprise."
The encore came with news for collectors as well. The band announced a 20th-anniversary vault package including previously unreleased material, Stereogum reported. A vault package is a limited-edition release sold directly to fans, usually built around reissues, rarities and extras.
The reunion reconnects a Nashville story. The Raconteurs' last album, Help Us Stranger, was the first they recorded at White's studio in the city, and their first since Benson got sober, White and Benson told NPR in 2019. That album followed a solo stretch for White, which included his 2018 album Boarding House Reach, as Rolling Stone noted at the time. Help Us Stranger is still listed as out now to buy or stream on the band's official site.
For fans, this means a short set with a long wait behind it. Five songs, four members on stage together for the first time in almost seven years, and archive material on the way.
