The unbeaten San Francisco 49ers walk into the house of the champions on Sunday, Oct. 11. San Francisco is 4-0 heading into a Week 5 visit to the 3-1 Seattle Seahawks, a fast rematch of a rivalry Seattle owned last winter.

Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. ET, 1:25 p.m. local time, at Lumen Field in Seattle. Fox will carry the game in the United States, with Kevin Burkhardt on play-by-play alongside Tom Brady, according to the team’s broadcast guide Seahawks.com.

Seattle has earned the recent edge. Last season the Seahawks won in the Bay Area on the final weekend of the regular season to secure the NFC West, the league’s four-team division, and home-field advantage. Then they beat the 49ers again, 41-6, in the divisional round, the second round of the playoffs, before finishing the run with a Super Bowl victory The Guardian.

This Seattle offense looks different. Quarterback Sam Darnold was hurt early in Week 1 and missed a game. Receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has carried the passing game, averaging 120 yards per game. Overall, Seattle has scored 105 points in four games, tied for sixth in the NFC.

The backfield has turned over, too. Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker now plays for the Chiefs. First-round rookie running back Jadarian Price went on injured reserve this week, leaving Seattle thin behind a passing game that has had to do heavy lifting.

San Francisco’s answer has been defense. The 49ers enter Sunday allowing the third-fewest yards per play in the NFL, a simple measure of efficiency on every snap. That unit gets its stiffest test yet against Smith-Njigba and a 2-0 home team in one of the league’s loudest buildings.

For fans, this means an early tone-setter more than a decider. NFL analyst Daniel Jeremiah called the matchup going to be a “war,” and the film backs up the billing: Seattle’s timing in the pass game against San Francisco’s discipline in limiting explosives.

Here is how to follow it. In the U.S., the game is on Fox or streamed on Fox One or Fubo where the local Fox affiliate carries it. In Canada, it can be streamed on DAZN and Fubo. In the United Kingdom, it is on Sky Sports NFL or streamed on NOW The Guardian. Seattle radio is on Seattle Sports 710 AM and KIRO Newsradio 97.3 FM. It should be loud.
