Charlotte Casiraghi walked the red carpet at the Palais Garnier in Paris on 10 October 2026 for the opening gala of the Paris Opera Ballet's 2026-2027 season.

The 40-year-old daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco chose black for the night. She attends as a regular guest, not a performer. Hello Magazine

She wore a midi-length Chanel dress, falling between knee and ankle, with thin straps, a V-neckline, sheer panels and a ruffled skirt. The cut was simple. The fabric did the work.

She paired the dress with black satin heels. Her hair was pulled back into a low, sleek bun. Her earrings were Chanel Comete Couture climbers, crafted in 18-carat white gold and diamonds.

Casiraghi is the granddaughter of Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco. That link explains much of the interest in her Paris appearances. She is 40, and Paris fashion week crowds know her well.

She attended the same Ballet season opening the previous year, also dressed in black. On 1 October 2024 she attended the Chanel Spring-Summer 2025 Ready-to-Wear show in Paris with a shorter hairstyle. She later wore a bob at a Chanel show during Paris Fashion Week, a style widely compared to her grandmother.

Casiraghi is a House ambassador and spokesperson for Chanel, the French fashion house, which means she represents the brand at major public events. Chanel She and Chanel also created the Cambon podcasts, a series of episodes dedicated to contemporary women. Chanel keeps an official archive page for its partnership with the Paris Opera.

For fans, this means a familiar formula. Black dress. Sleek hair. Sparkling jewellery. Opera glamour without fuss.
