Zach Bryan will release an eight-track project titled Young Manhood & Other Donatable Organs on Friday, Oct. 16.

He confirmed the title, length and release date on Monday, Oct. 12. The announcement came with a full tracklist and two guest credits, four days out from release, according to Billboard.

The eight songs are “Lies,” “Lodi When,” “Robot Killed the Working Man,” “Dog Days,” “Backwards,” “Plainsman,” “Is the Blue Tangled in You?” and “You’ll Get By.” All eight titles were published together. No additional songs were listed.

Two tracks carry featured guests. “Lies” features Lana Del Rey. “Plainsman” features Turnpike Troubadours.

A feature, in industry terms, means another act appears on the recording. Here it puts one solo collaboration and one band collaboration on the same short project. The announcement did not include song lengths, writers or producers.

The new project follows a busy stretch. Bryan’s album With Heaven On Top debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the US albums chart that ranks the most-consumed albums each week. He then closed his With Heaven on Tour on Oct. 10 in Auburn, Ala.

That timeline is tight. The tour ended on Saturday. The new project was announced on Monday. Release follows on Friday, six days after the final tour date.

For fans, this means little waiting. The gap between announcement and release is four days.

The title is not entirely new. In July, the project was described as an EP, a shorter release than a full album, and a follow-up to Bryan’s recent work. At that stage Bryan teased it by sharing two new unreleased songs to YouTube, according to Holler.

That earlier tease did not give a release date. Monday’s announcement did. It fixed the format at eight tracks, named all eight, and set Oct. 16 as the day the project arrives in full.
