Princess Eugenie marked eight years of marriage to Jack Brooksbank on 12 October with an Instagram video of him cradling their baby daughter.

The caption read "Happy 8 years married my love". The clip shows Brooksbank holding newborn Adelaide close to his chest. Eugenie added that the sound was off, and what cannot be heard is Jack asking their daughter something in the moment, as reported by Hello! Magazine.

Adelaide is the couple's third child. Her full name is Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank. She was born on 3 August 2026 at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal, and Eugenie announced the name two weeks later.

The Lisbon birth reflects the family's life between two countries. Brooksbank took a role with the Discovery Land Company at the CostaTerra Golf & Ocean Club in Portugal in 2022. Eugenie and her family now live in Portugal on a part-time basis.

Their two older children are sons. August Philip Hawke Brooksbank was born on 9 February 2021. His brother, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, was born on 30 May 2023.

Eugenie, granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth, has made a habit of marking milestones on Instagram. She posted a never-before-seen video for her first wedding anniversary in 2019, shared a black-and-white photograph with Brooksbank for her fourth anniversary, and posted another tribute for her sixth anniversary in 2024, when she was 34, as reported by People. In February 2025 she marked Valentine's Day with photographs of herself, Brooksbank and their two sons.

The couple married on 12 October 2018. Eight years on, the anniversary post was simple. No statement. No formal photograph. Just a short home video.

For fans, this is the appeal. The post gives a brief glimpse of family life, with a father holding his weeks-old daughter. It keeps the focus on the marriage itself.

Eugenie did not share more detail about how the couple spent the day. The video was left to speak for itself. The message was short and affectionate, and it quickly drew warm responses online.
