Halo Fest 2026 going ahead in Seattle, news due this week

Halo Fest 2026 is going ahead as planned, with fresh news due this week.
The confirmation came from Tashi, Halo Studios director of competitive engagement, in comments reported by GameSpot. The festival is scheduled for 11-13 December in Seattle. It is sold out.
The event marks 25 years of Halo, the science-fiction shooter series that began on Xbox in 2001. Halo Studios said it will release materials celebrating the community and that anniversary.
The three days split into two parts. The concert is scheduled for 11 December 2026 at Benaroya Hall, with the convention scheduled for 12-13 December 2026 at the Seattle Convention Center (Summit), according to Halo Waypoint. Programming listed for the festival includes special guests, developer and community panels, cosplay and art.
Two familiar voices are on the guest list. Steve Downes and Jen Taylor, who play Master Chief and Cortana, will appear at Halo Fest 2026.
Tashi said the studio will publish a blog reconfirming previously announced plans for the festival, in a post on 12 October shared on X. Fans will be able to attend in person or watch from home. He added that the @HaloSupport account has already been posting relevant game information.
Halo Studios also plans to share relevant game information about in-market Halo games — titles already released and available to play — in connection with the festival. No new game announcements were detailed in the update.
For fans, this means a sold-out room in Seattle and a watch-from-home option for everyone else. Expect nostalgia first. Game updates will follow around it.
