Kelces Say Taylor Swift Has No Halloween Song, Pick Folklore for Season

Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce have settled one seasonal question: Taylor Swift has not made a Halloween song.
The brothers raised it on the Oct. 14, 2026 edition of New Heights, the podcast they host together, during a chat about favourite spooky-season tracks, according to Billboard.
Jason asked, “Has Taylor ever made a Halloween song?” He then asked whether she had “ever ventured into the scary territory.” Travis did not hesitate. “I don’t believe so, Jason,” he replied.
From there the pair turned to the songs they do associate with 31 October. Both named “Monster Mash” and the Ghostbusters theme song among the best options for the season.
Jason then offered his own Swift pick for Halloween listening. He chose Folklore, her 2020 album, and described it as her “in the woods” album. Travis agreed that certain Swift songs carry spooky vibes even without an overt Halloween release, according to People.
The Oct. 14 discussion also touched on “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve,” the Midnights track the brothers mentioned while talking through her catalogue, according to Yahoo.
Swift has never explicitly released a song for Halloween. Her only direct Halloween reference came on “Ronan,” the 2012 charity song written about a young boy who died of cancer.
What makes this stand out is the gap the Kelces pointed to. Swift has built albums around love, heartbreak, family and revenge, but she has left the haunted-house playlist to Bobby Pickett and Ray Parker Jr. For fans, this means Folklore may be the closest fit for now: woodland settings, grey moods and ghostly narrators, without a costume-shop chorus.
