Reform UK has said there is no room for racism in the party after ITV News broadcast undercover footage in which councillors and candidates were heard using racist, violent and sexist language. BBC

The footage was gathered over the course of a year and involved eight figures in the party. It included secretly recorded material featuring elected Reform officials across England and Wales. The investigation was carried out by ITV Exposure and published on 14 October 2026. ITV News

Among those filmed was Alan Feeney, a Reform councillor and deputy mayor of Solihull, the local council covering the town. He defected from the Conservative Party to Reform UK in 2025 and was campaigning to retain his Solihull council seat.

He was recorded calling Asian homeowners "parasites", telling undercover reporters that Solihull had been "infested" with Asian families, and saying that no more than one per cent of the British population can be non-white. BBC

Reform said all those filmed are under investigation and have either resigned or been suspended. A spokesman said investigations have commenced where members behaved inappropriately and that suspensions had occurred in some cases.

Labour described the investigation as "truly sickening". ITV News reported calls for the councillors filmed making racist remarks to resign.

The documentary, reported from London on 14 October, showed Reform UK candidates making racist, sexual and violent remarks. U.S. News
