Spain's You First Originals has a new name: Victoria House.

Talent and production group Gersh completed the integration of the Madrid company under its global brand on Oct. 15 and launched Victoria House as its new identity, Variety reported.

Gersh acquired Madrid-based You First in 2024. The deal doubled its workforce to more than 600 employees and extended its reach to 22 offices across 14 countries.

Javier Martínez continues to lead the Spanish operation as managing director of Victoria House. He works alongside Luis Miguel Calvo, head of content at Gersh International. Joanna Pardos heads projects and content development, a role she has held since joining the company in 2022.

Victoria House will sit inside Gersh International's content division. The division also covers the group's podcast, YouTube and branded entertainment businesses, meaning shows and audio and online video are managed as one organisation.

The company's current slate centres on football star Alexia Putellas. Victoria House is co-producing a scripted feature, meaning a fictional film played by actors, titled 'Alexia' and inspired by Putellas's early life. Lucía Alemany directs.

The film is made jointly with LaZona, LaCima Producciones and Odessa Films. It is backed by Spanish broadcasters Movistar Plus and 3Cat and is slated for a theatre release in 2027.

It follows an earlier project about the same footballer. Victoria House previously produced 'Alexia: Labor Omnia Vincit' for Prime Video, a docuseries — a non-fiction story told across episodes — which earned an International Emmy nomination.

The team also has an International Emmy win to its name. You First Originals won the 2025 International Emmy for Best Sports Documentary for 'It's All Over: The Kiss That Changed Spanish Football'.

Next is true crime. Victoria House is producing 'Criminopatía' for Netflix for 2027, a documentary series adapting a true-crime podcast by Clara Tiscar. Podcasts are proving fertile ground for screen stories. This one makes the jump with the same team behind the camera.

What makes this stand out is continuity. The name has changed, but the leadership and the projects carry over, with Madrid remaining the base.
