Rockstar has released the official launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, a 90-second cut arriving just over a month before release. The video is the final trailer push for the game ahead of its November date. Video Games Chronicle

It runs for 90 seconds. Rockstar says the footage was captured entirely in-game on PlayStation 5. That means what viewers see is running on console hardware, not pre-rendered film.

The trailer follows Jason and Lucia, the game's two central characters. They are caught in a criminal conspiracy across the state of Leonida after an easy score goes wrong. Leonida is the fictional state where the story is set.

Music carries much of the trailer. It features original music from Justice, the French electronic duo. Rockstar confirms Justice composed the original score for Grand Theft Auto VI.

One track gets a name check. “Flower in a Hurricane” by Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, will appear on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. The album collects music linked to the game.

Grand Theft Auto VI will release on November 19, 2026, according to Rockstar. Rockstar Games The company apologised for adding additional time to the release schedule when it set that date. Its first trailer had lined up the game for a 2025 launch. Reuters

That first trailer arrived in December 2023, roughly 15 hours before its planned unveiling. Associated Press Since then Rockstar has released further looks, including Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, available on YouTube and the official Grand Theft Auto VI site. Rockstar Games

What makes this stand out is the focus. No narration. No feature list. Just the two leads, the colour and noise of Leonida, and a clear signal about the sound of the game. For players, it is the sharpest sense yet of how Rockstar wants this organised-crime story to feel in the run to November.
