MSC takes world sales on Sarah Levy marathon comedy Run for AFM launch

The Mise En Scene Company has taken worldwide sales rights to "Run", a marathon comedy-drama led by "Schitt's Creek" star Sarah Levy, as reported by Variety Variety.
That means MSC will sell the American production to distributors country by country. Sales will open at the American Film Market, the annual gathering where independent films find buyers, with MSC working from the Film Export U.K. stand.
Levy plays Jane Cooper. Jane is set on finishing the Garden State Marathon while her personal life shifts around her, according to a 2025 synopsis CinemaExpress.
The cast around her includes Phillipa Soo and Adam Pally. Chris Redd plays Mitch and Hannah Dunne plays Kountry.
Behind the camera, Melissa Miller Costanzo directs from "Plain Jane", the first novel by Barrie Levitt Knee. Knee produces alongside Matt Jensen for B's Knees, LLC and Yes!Jensen Films, with Jax Katz and Levy as executive producers, who hold senior credits without day-to-day management of the shoot.
Filming was already under way in September 2025 Deadline. MSC unveiled a first-look image through Variety and brokered the sales deal through Paul Yates and Rory MacDonald, with David Roth identifying the title. It is MSC's first romantic comedy pickup.
For fans, this means the next sightings will come from buyers, not cinemas. Festival and distribution deals decide when and where "Run" reaches screens.
