Odell Beckham Jr. is taking control of his own story. The American football star has launched ITN Productions, his own media organisation, alongside a new YouTube channel about his life off the field. The channel was presented as the first step in a wider production push.

The launch was reported on 23 July 2019 by The Hollywood Reporter. That report is the authoritative account of the announcement.

The YouTube channel sits at the centre of the plan. It is built around Beckham himself and offers an off-the-field look into his daily life. That means the cameras follow him away from stadiums and match days.

YouTube needs little introduction. It is a video platform where creators publish directly to viewers who subscribe to their channels. No pilot is shot first, to borrow television language, and no broadcaster has to order a series.

ITN Productions is the business behind the move. A production outfit is simply a company that develops and makes its own programmes and films. This one is Beckham's own vehicle for future projects.

The two parts work together. The channel gives him somewhere to post now. The company gives him somewhere to build from for later.

No programme titles, episode counts or business partners were included in the report. That is normal for an early announcement, when the company comes first and the slate follows.

Control is the point here. League footage belongs to leagues and broadcasters. A personal channel and a personal company belong to the person who starts them.

For fans, this means a different kind of access. Match coverage shows what Beckham does in games. This venture is about everything around those games.

Direct channels like this live or fall on consistency. One video introduces the idea. Many videos build the audience. Subscribers return when they know more is coming.

The production push label matters for the same reason. It signals intent beyond a single channel. A push suggests more programmes and formats may follow under the ITN name, even if none were named yet.

For now, the starting slate is simple. One company. One channel. One life off the field.
