Justice to Score Grand Theft Auto VI as Rockstar Details 34 New Songs

French electronic duo Justice will compose the original dynamic score for Grand Theft Auto VI, Rockstar Games has confirmed. The game will be released on Nov. 19. The news arrived with the game's launch trailer, which carries new music from the duo.
The trailer gives the debut of "Flower in a Hurricane" by Justice featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, according to Rockstar Games. Justice released the track to accompany the scoring announcement. It is the first new music tied directly to the game.
Rockstar said Justice will write a dynamic score, music written to shift with player behaviour, missions and open-world movement. Selections from that score were already heard in August's Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, and were produced by Justice, as reported by Billboard.
The score sits apart from the game's licensed soundtrack. Rockstar has said that soundtrack will include 34 new songs. That is a lot of new music.
Three of those songs have been named. Yung Lean featuring Future and Metro Boomin contribute "That's It". Travis Scott performs "Rhyno", produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso. PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Étienne de Crécy contribute "Sexy Magic".
The collaboration extends a working link between Justice and Tame Impala. Tame Impala sang on Justice's "Neverender", a Grammy-winning Billboard No. 1 hit.
For players, this means two layers of new music on arrival. The soundtrack brings standalone songs for radio and clubs inside the game. The dynamic score runs underneath it all, changing shape as the story moves.
