San Francisco's FOG Design+Art Fair has named 76 exhibitors for its 2027 edition.

The fair will run January 21–24 at the Fort Mason Center for the Arts in San Francisco, according to the announcement reported by ARTnews. The exhibitor list was made public on October 15, 2026. It sets the lineup more than three months ahead of opening.

For anyone new to it, FOG is a fair where art and design share the floor. Galleries show paintings, sculpture and photography alongside furniture, lighting and craft-led design. You do not need market knowledge to enjoy it. Walk the aisles and you see both disciplines side by side.

An exhibitor, in fair language, is a gallery or design dealer that rents a stand to show and sell work. The number gives a sense of scale. Seventy-six stands means a fair that can be walked in a day, but with enough range to compare styles and prices.

The 2027 edition will use the fair's familiar waterfront home. The fair lists its site as Piers 2 & 3 at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture in San Francisco, according to FOG Design+Art. That complex is a former military post on the northern waterfront, now organised as an arts venue. It sits near the Marina District, with views across the Bay. The halls are large, daylight-filled sheds that suit both big sculpture and small design objects.

Dealers hoping to join the 2027 list are now too late. The fair's exhibitor page states that applications for 2027 are closed. That means the 76 names are final unless the fair announces otherwise.

For galleries, a closed list brings certainty. A place at a fair of this size offers four days in front of collectors, curators and first-time buyers. It is a short, concentrated selling window, and planning for transport, insurance and staffing can now begin.

For fans, this means the planning can start too. January is a quiet month for major United States art fairs outside California. A fixed date and a set number of exhibitors let travellers book flights and hotels early. It also lets local visitors hold the weekend.

What makes this stand out is timing. Announcing in October gives the public a full season to follow which artists and designers the galleries will bring. Expect those details to arrive closer to January. For now, the headline is simple. Seventy-six exhibitors. Four days. One waterfront site.
