Veronica Leoni to Exit Calvin Klein Collection

Veronica Leoni is leaving Calvin Klein after just over two years in charge of its runway line.
The Roman designer will step down as creative director, the designer who leads a label's collections, of Calvin Klein Collection at the end of her current contract. Calvin Klein, the American fashion label owned by PVH Corp, the US apparel group, confirmed the exit on 15 October 2026, after days of speculation about her future WWD. No successor was named.
The house said new creative leadership for the Collection will be revealed in due course. That line is the label's flagship runway range, separate from the jeans and underwear sold more widely.
Leoni joined in May 2024. She was the first woman to lead the Collection. She had previously designed at The Row, Jil Sander, Celine and Moncler, four established designer labels.
Her task was a restart. The Collection had not staged a regular runway show since Raf Simons left in 2018. Leoni returned it to the New York calendar in February 2025 with a fall/winter 2025 show with both women's and men's looks. Her brief covered men's and women's clothing, underwear and accessories, according to the appointment notice from PVH.
She showed four seasons in all. Her spring 2026 range was her second for the house. She fitted it in New York's garment district, the Manhattan quarter of workshops and suppliers where samples are cut and sewn Vogue. She followed with fall 2026, listed for 13 February at noon Eastern time, built around denim, underwear and close-fitting shapes. Her spring 2027 show in New York City was her last.
She lasted four runway seasons.
The exit follows change at the top. Eva Serrano left as Calvin Klein global brand president in May 2025. David Savman succeeded her and remains in the post.
For fans, this means a short comeback now needs a new author. The line is back on the runway. Who leads it next will set its direction.
