Devon Sawa will host the 2026 Fangoria Chainsaw Awards, the night that honours horror film, television and craft.
The ceremony airs on Oct. 25 at 9 p.m. ET on Shudder, the horror streaming service, according to Variety. Sawa, known to genre audiences from Final Destination and Chucky, takes centre stage for the annual vote-based awards.
Fangoria has now revealed a first wave of presenters. The list includes Lin Shaye, Mink Stole, John Kassir, Mick Garris, Peaches Christ, Felissa Rose, Kelli Maroney, Tracie Thoms and Patrick Brice, as reported by Variety.
Two assignments are confirmed. Shaye will present Best Wide Release Movie, the prize for horror films with a broad cinema release. Kassir will present Best Creature FX, for physical monster and creature work.

For fans, this means a mix of old-school craft and new voices. Garris is a writer-director long linked with Stephen King adaptations. Christ, Janisse and Puddin' come from horror hosting and commentary.
The nominations race is tight. 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple and Dust Bunny lead with nine nominations each, followed by Backrooms with six, as reported by Variety. That sets up a straight contest between a franchise sequel and an original feature.
Fangoria has released a trailer for the ceremony to build to the Oct. 25 broadcast, posting it on Oct. 9 on FANGORIA. Further presenters are expected before air date.
