ARTnews has named its 10 best booths at Frieze London 2026, with Thaddaeus Ropac, Ellie Rines Gallery and Chemould CoLab all making the cut.

The list, published on 16 October, picks out 10 stands from the crowded aisles of the London fair. A booth here means a gallery's temporary mini-exhibition inside the fair tent, its chance to catch the eye of collectors, curators and first-time visitors alike. ARTnews

Frieze London runs alongside Frieze Masters from 14 to 18 October at The Regent's Park in London. Together the two fairs bring together more than 280 galleries from 45 countries, according to the organiser. Frieze

Frieze London on its own is still large. This year's edition features 172 galleries from 42 countries and regions. That figure comes from the fair's preview guide published on 9 October. Frieze

For anyone heading down, the opening Wednesday ran from 11am to 7pm. The fair's visitor information lists the daily hours for the week in Regent's Park.

What makes this stand out for a casual visitor is how useful a shortlist can be. Frieze is big and loud and easy to get lost in. Ten booths is a walkable plan.

The three named galleries give a sense of the range. Thaddaeus Ropac operates across Europe, Ellie Rines Gallery is a younger American space, and Chemould CoLab is linked to Mumbai's gallery scene. Their inclusion puts established and newer programmes on the same page, without ranking one above the other.
