Billy Evans has not seen the film about his wife. He said so himself as it arrived in theatres.

Evans, the husband of Elizabeth Holmes, appeared on the All-In podcast as You Can See Everything began its theatrical release to explain why the couple let a camera crew into their home before Holmes went to prison, according to Variety. He told the hosts he was speaking before seeing the finished cut. “I haven't seen it. I might think this is the dumbest thing I have ever done,” he said.

The documentary is directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim and centres on Holmes, reported Variety. It had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival. Distributor A24 then put out a teaser trailer before the film screened for press.

Evans said the filming took place when Holmes was facing an 11-year sentence, according to Variety. That timing shaped the decision to record family life at home. He did not present it as a polished interview setup. It was domestic life, with prison ahead.

He was blunt about the first footage. Evans said on the podcast that Holmes “looks insane” in the trailer, reported Variety. He acknowledged that “especially the music” in the trailer gives it an anti-Holmes slant. He has still not judged the full film.

The release is a wide theatrical outing. You Can See Everything opened in theatres on 16 October 2026, according to its official trailer. It runs 2 hours 55 minutes, listed by A24. A viewing guide published by Good Morning America set out its premiere, viewing details and statements from Holmes and Evans.

Evans also gave personal history on the podcast. He and Holmes met in 2017, had their first child, William, in 2021 and their daughter, Invicta, in 2023, reported Variety. The episode, titled “Elizabeth Holmes' Husband Billy Evans: The Trial, Prison & ...” and posted on YouTube, has Evans joining Friedberg to discuss how they met, Holmes as a person versus the headlines, the indictment and life on trial. The live session was billed by the All-In Summit as “Marrying Elizabeth Holmes: the person vs the headlines” and covered her sentencing and life in prison.

What makes this stand out is the order of events. Usually a subject watches, then defends. Here the defence came first, with the viewing still to come.
