9-1-1: Nashville closed its second-season premiere with a memorial tribute to Fiona Lowe, the 13-year-old daughter of co-executive producer Chad Lowe.

The episode, titled 'Going Rogue', aired Thursday, 15 October on ABC. It finished with a title card reading 'In loving memory, Fiona Lowe' beside a photograph of her, as reported by Deadline. A title card in this context means on-screen text shown after the story ends.

Lowe directed the premiere. He also serves as co-executive producer, a senior producing role that covers creative and day-to-day decisions on a series. He previously appeared on screen alongside his brother Rob Lowe in 9-1-1: Lone Star.

The tribute followed a family announcement in late September. Lowe and his wife, Kim Painter, announced the death of their daughter on 30 September 2026, as reported by the Los Angeles Times. Fiona Lowe was pronounced dead at a local hospital at 1:14 a.m. on 29 September. Her manner of death was ruled a suicide, with that ruling recorded on 1 October, according to People and WBAL-TV.

'Going Rogue' centres on the show's 113 first-responder unit as it responds to a museum overrun by murder hornets, according to listings from ABC. ABC lists the instalment with a runtime of 43 minutes and 7 seconds. It carries a TV-14 rating, meaning it is judged unsuitable for children under 14. ABC gives 15 October 2026 as the air date for the episode.

New episodes of 9-1-1: Nashville air on Thursdays at 9/8c on ABC, meaning 9 p.m. Eastern Time and 8 p.m. Central Time. Episodes become available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu the next day. That pattern gives broadcast viewers the first window, with streaming viewers able to catch up the following morning.

The broadcast came just over two weeks after the family's announcement. The memorial itself was brief. It named no cause and carried no further message beyond the dedication and photograph. The series continues in its regular Thursday slot, with the premiere now available on both catch-up services while the next episode prepares for the same hour.

Listings treat the live broadcast as the first window and the next-day stream as catch-up. That is standard practice for network series in the United States. It means audiences can choose either appointment viewing or on-demand viewing a day later without missing story continuity.
