Students in Greensboro, North Carolina, protested the absence of early voting sites on their campuses as early voting got underway for the Nov. 3 general election.

Shia Rozier, a student at North Carolina A&T, spoke with NPR host Ayesha Rascoe about disappointment with the early voting sites in Greensboro, according to NPR.

The protest followed the loss of on-campus voting sites at North Carolina A&T and UNCG. More than 100 students from the two schools marched to the polls on Thursday to mark the start of early voting, WFDD reported.

In Guilford County, early voting for the Nov. 3 general election began at 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, according to the county elections board. The county's early voting plan lists off-campus locations including 301 W. Market St. in Greensboro, the Ag Center Barn at 3309 Burlington Rd. in Greensboro and Barber Park Pavilion, according to Guilford County election documents.
