Two people were killed and 11 others were injured on Saturday afternoon when a pickup truck drove through a youth soccer game in Wichita, Kansas.

The crash happened at about 3:30 p.m. on the west field of the Stryker Sports Complex in northeast Wichita, The Guardian reported. The vehicle involved was a pickup truck, according to Kansas.com.

Those killed were a 6-year-old boy and a 35-year-old man. Both were from McPherson, Kansas, and were not related to each other.

Eleven other people, ranging in age from 5 to 68, were injured. Ten of them had serious but not life-threatening injuries. That group included children ages 5, 8 and 9 and adults ages 28 to 68. The eleventh injured person, a 61-year-old woman, had nontraumatic medical issues.

The driver was a 34-year-old woman from Garden City, Kansas. Two juveniles were inside the truck with her at the time of the crash. She has a valid driver's license and no outstanding warrants.

Police took the driver into custody after the incident. She stayed with the truck and remained at the scene, according to ABC News. She was still in custody on Saturday night.
