Police Investigate Reform Mayor Luke Campbell Over Alleged Naked Images

Humberside police are investigating Luke Campbell, the Reform UK mayor of Hull and East Yorkshire, over allegations that he showed naked and sexualised images of himself to a female staff member. The Guardian
Campbell, a former Olympic boxing champion who won gold at the London 2012 Olympics, was questioned under caution earlier in October. He has not been arrested.
The alleged incident took place in May, according to documents submitted as part of an internal grievance procedure at the Hull and East Yorkshire Combined Authority, the regional body that employs the mayor's staff. In her testimony, the senior female colleague said Campbell called her to a computer screen showing several naked and sexualised images of himself. The complaint specifies four fully naked and sexualised images.
The woman said she felt shocked, embarrassed and humiliated. She also said she was forced out of her job soon after the alleged incident.
Reform UK said Campbell firmly denies the allegations.
A different account of the images was offered by Nadine Dorries, who claimed the image at issue was a 2013 magazine cover showing Campbell posing naked from the waist up. A separate witness said one image showed a naked man with a tattoo, while no tattoo is visible on the 2013 magazine cover.
The allegations were first reported by the Observer on 18 October 2026.
