A new dance work built around the music of David Bowie will have its world premiere in Luxembourg.

Subject to Change: A Dance for David Bowie is choreographed by Spanish choreographer Marcos Morau, The Guardian reported.

The piece features new choral arrangements of songs from across Bowie's career. Those songs will be interwoven with choral sounds from around the world and the voice of Spanish singer Maria Arnal.

The work takes inspiration from Bowie's transformations into personas such as Aladdin Sane and the Thin White Duke. Its promotional image uses the Tokyo Pop black vinyl jumpsuit with stripes designed by Kansai Yamamoto for Bowie to wear as Ziggy Stardust in 1973.

After its premiere, the production will be staged at Sadler's Wells in London in autumn 2028 and will visit Tokyo in 2029. Sadler's Wells lists the premiere as March 2028, followed by an international tour.

Subject to Change is described as a Bunkamura, Sadler's Wells and La Veronal production, according to Sadler's Wells. Sound design and musical direction are by Alex Röser Vatiché and Ben Meerwein of OZCUR, with set design by Max Glaenzel and costume design by Sylvia Delagneau.
