How a PowerPoint Became Rawayana's Arena Tour

Rawayana's first world arena tour began as a PowerPoint concept, according to Live Nation's Hans Schafer, who described the planning on a panel at Billboard Latin Music Week in Miami Beach. Billboard reported the session on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
The tour is called ¿Dónde Es El After? and is promoted by Live Nation, the company that books and sells concerts at venues across the world. Schafer is senior vice president of global touring at Live Nation. Billboard also named him its 2026 Latin Power Players Executive of the Year.
Schafer said Beto Montenegro, one of the band's members, arrived at the planning with a laptop and a clear idea of what he wanted. The tour's first version was a slide deck. Montenegro and fellow member Fofo Story joined Schafer on the panel, which was part of the event's "Building the Tour with Rawayana" session.
The North American leg includes 23 dates. It opened on October 15, 2026, at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, and runs into December. The tour closes with three sold-out nights in Miami, according to Billboard's report. Live Nation's newsroom has also said the North American shows are promoted with Rimas Nation, the company that works with the band on its releases.
The band started the world tour in April 2026. It sold out arenas in Europe and Latin America before the North American run began. An arena tour means playing venues that often hold 10,000 people or more, a step up from theatres and clubs.
The band was formed in Caracas, Venezuela, by four college friends. Its album, also called ¿Dónde Es El After?, is released on the band's own label, Broccoli Records, and distributed by Rimas Entertainment. Distribution means the company that handles getting the album into stores and onto streaming services. The album is nominated for Album of the Year at the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards, the prizes for Spanish- and Portuguese-language music.
Rawayana is also a finalist at the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards, which are set for October 22, 2026. The band is featured on the cover of Billboard Español's October digital edition.
Latin Music Week runs from October 19 to 22, 2026, at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach. The event brings together label executives, promoters and artists to discuss how the business works, from touring to streaming. For a band that started as four friends, the panel offered a look at the planning behind a tour that now crosses two continents.
