Hive Raises USD $27 Million to Build Out Its Live-Events Marketing Tools

Hive, a marketing platform for the live events business, has raised USD $27 million in a Series B funding round from the growth equity firm Frontier Growth. The company announced the round on 21 October 2026.
A Series B is usually a company's second major round of outside investment. Growth equity means money put into firms that are already expanding, in return for a share of the company.
Hive sells its tools to concert venues, promoters and festivals, which use them to reach fans and sell tickets. According to Music Business Worldwide, more than 1,600 venues, promoters and festivals now use the platform. Hive says its customers have generated more than USD $1 billion in ticket sales through it.
The platform pulls buyer and event information from more than 40 ticketing services, including Ticketmaster, AXS, Eventim, Etix, Tixr and DICE. Ticketing services are the companies that sell the seats.
Hive also cites one customer result. After switching from Mailchimp, an email marketing service, to Hive in early 2022, the venue operator ASM Richmond generated more than USD $500,000 in email-related sales within its first three months, according to a case study Hive points to.
Hive says the new money will go toward product development, more ticketing and data integrations, and expansion overseas. The next phase of its product plan centres on AI-powered assistants for event teams. Hive says those assistants are meant to speed up the building of branded campaigns, the promotions that companies run alongside a show, and to cut down on repetitive work.
Ian Roberts is the chief executive and co-founder of Hive. Andrew Lindner is a partner at Frontier Growth. The investor describes itself as a growth equity partner for vertical software companies, meaning businesses that build software for a single industry.
For most fans, the work behind a show is invisible until an on-sale email lands in an inbox. Hive's pitch is that more of that work can be handled by software, and this round is the money it plans to use to test that idea across more markets.
