A two-hour live tribute to Dolly Parton airs on ABC on Wednesday, October 21, at 9 p.m. Eastern time. The same show is also simulcast on Disney+, meaning it goes out on both services at the same moment.

The programme is called CMA Presents I Will Always Love You: A Celebration of Dolly Parton. The Country Music Association (CMA) produces it. The CMA announced the special in September, describing it as a live event. It is staged in front of an audience at Belmont University's Fisher Center for the Performing Arts in Nashville, Tennessee.

Tickets for the live audience went on sale on September 30, with prices starting at $95, according to the CMA's earlier announcement. The organisation released its full lineup on October 5.

Twenty acts and performers are confirmed. They include Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Kristen Bell, Lady A, Vince Gill, Little Big Town, Zac Brown and Lainey Wilson, along with Ashley McBryde, Ricky Skaggs, Béla Fleck and others. Amy Grant and Kimberly Williams-Paisley are also special guests.

If you do not have a regular cable package, you can still watch. The Hollywood Reporter lists four live streaming options: DirecTV, Fubo, Sling and Hulu + Live TV. These are live TV services, which means you pay for a package of channels that is delivered over the internet.

Two of those services offer a free trial, which is a short period of use before any payment starts. DirecTV and Fubo each give five days free. Disney+ does not have a free trial of its own. It is, however, included in DirecTV's Signature packages, and those packages come with a free trial. So a viewer who wants the Disney+ version without paying can sign up for DirecTV's trial and get access that way.

Trial terms can change, so check the service's website before you sign up. The broadcast starts at 9 p.m. Eastern time, so give yourself a few minutes to log in beforehand.
