Druski Will Be the First Digital Creator to Host Saturday Night Live

Druski will host Saturday Night Live on Nov. 7, becoming the first digital content creator to take the show's host job, according to Variety. A digital content creator is someone who builds an audience by posting videos and other material online, rather than on television.
The Strokes, the New York rock band, will be the musical guest that night. The band performs between sketches, and it will be their fifth time in that slot.
A week later, on Nov. 14, John Mulaney returns as host. It will be his seventh time hosting the NBC sketch comedy show. Mulaney also spent four seasons on the show's writing staff, from 2008 to 2012, before he started appearing in front of the camera.
Phoebe Bridgers is booked as the musical guest for Mulaney's episode. It will be her third time in the slot. She first performed on the show in 2021.
The Halloween episode, on Oct. 31, will be headlined by Inde Navarrette and Gracie Abrams, Variety reports. Earlier scheduling news from EW also listed Navarrette as the Oct. 31 host.
The current season, which is numbered Season 52, opened on Sept. 26 with Jalen Brunson as host and Katseye as the musical guest. NBC's season guide also lists Dakota Johnson and Shane Gillis as hosts for the season.
For viewers, the calendar now runs from Druski's debut in early November through Mulaney's return the following week. Each episode is a live broadcast, so the lineup is set by the network and can change only if NBC announces it.
