Insomniac and Amsterdam Dance Event Plan a Three-Day Summit in Las Vegas

Insomniac and Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the long-running dance music industry gathering in the Netherlands, will hold a new three-day summit in Las Vegas in May, according to Billboard, which reported the plans on 22 October 2026.
The event is called Map Point Summit. It will take place at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, and it is timed to sit between the two weekends of EDC Las Vegas 2027, the electronic dance music festival that Insomniac produces. Those festival weekends run May 14 to 16 and May 21 to 23.
The name refers to the way people found parties in the early days of rave culture, when the location of a night was often passed along by word of mouth and by hand-drawn or printed maps. The summit is intended for creators, independent promoters, artists, entrepreneurs and professionals who work on the future of the dance scene.
The partnership was announced at ADE 2026, at the end of a keynote conversation between Insomniac founder Pasquale Rotella and ADE managing director Jan-Willem van de Ven. For ADE, it is a first: its first partnership of this kind, and its first event held outside Amsterdam as an exclusive partnership in North America.
Map Point Summit is one part of a wider programme. Insomniac's press site describes a 12-day experience that also includes the World Party Parade, Pop-Up Events and Parties, the Beyond The Rave Art Show and the Insomniac Concept Store.
For anyone who has ever followed a party across a city by map, the name will land straight away. For the industry, it is a sign that a Dutch conference brand is looking to build a bigger presence in the United States, with Las Vegas as its base for the first edition. Ticket prices, speaker lists and the full schedule for the summit had not been published, so those details will come from the organisers as they are released.
