Bleiberg Acquires International Rights to Dylan Douglas Thriller The Hit on Hitler

Bleiberg Entertainment has acquired the international rights to The Hit on Hitler: Mobsters vs. Nazis, a historical crime thriller that marks the feature debut of actor Dylan Douglas, Deadline reported on 23 October 2026.
International rights are the right to sell and release a film in every market outside the United States and Canada. Whoever holds them decides where the film plays and who gets to show it there. Bleiberg's deal covers those territories.
Douglas is the lead. He is 26 years old and the son of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones. He stars as Benny Lipman, a young Jewish gangster in 1930s New York City. The film is based on true events, and it follows Lipman as he works in the city's underworld during the rise of the Nazis in Germany.
The cast also includes David Arquette, Harry Goodwins and Lorenzo Antonucci. Danny A. Abeckaser directs, and he produces with Sagi Wolf for 2B Films. Kosta Kondilopoulos wrote the script.
The film is in post-production, the stage after shooting when editing, sound and visual effects are finished. Deadline reported that the producers will present it to international distributors at the American Film Market in November. That market is a trading event where sales agents and buyers look at films that are still being finished and decide which ones they want to sell or buy for release around the world.
Deals like this one often start at markets like the American Film Market. A buyer sees a first look, makes an offer and, if the terms are agreed, the film gains a path to screens in countries where it has not yet been seen. Bleiberg's acquisition puts a buyer in place before the film has been shown to the trade.
The film has no release date, and no distributor has been named for the United States and Canada. Those decisions sit with other companies and will come later.
For now, the news is simple. A debut lead, a finished shoot, a market in November, and a buyer already in place for the rest of the world.
