Catherine Ashmore Bradley will play Sara in Dollkeeper, a psychological horror feature. Cameron Crovetti has been cast as Dylan, Sara's older brother. Deadline reported the casting on 23 October 2026.

The story follows a teenage girl who confronts a terrifying figure connected to her family's past. Psychological horror is a style that builds fear mainly through tension, unease and doubt about what is real, rather than through sudden shocks or gore. Much of the drama sits inside the characters' heads, and the family relationships are central to it.

Filming comes next. Principal photography, the main stretch of shooting when most scenes are recorded, is set to begin in the coming weeks in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The city sits on the state's Atlantic coast.

Stephen Henric is producing the film through Voodoo Pictures. A producer oversees the money, the schedule and the day-to-day business of making a movie. Dominic Easter is the director of photography, the person who leads the camera and lighting crew and decides how each shot looks. Chloë Curran is handling casting, which means finding and booking the actors for each role, often weeks before the cameras roll.

Bradley has screen experience with younger audiences. She played Luan Loud in The Really Loud House, the Nickelodeon series that also streams on Paramount+. The announcement places her in a lead role opposite Crovetti, whose character is Sara's brother.

Casting news like this usually arrives as a project moves from planning into production. That is the stage when crews are hired, locations are booked and shooting dates are fixed. With two lead roles now filled and the first day of filming weeks away, Dollkeeper is moving toward the cameras.
