Stefan Djordjevic's debut feature, "Wind, Talk to Me", won best film at the Adriatic Film & TV Awards on Saturday, 24 October. The film also took best director and best debut film.

The ceremony was held on Saturday evening at Porto Montenegro in Tivat, Montenegro. Variety reported the film's wins. The movie was produced by Dragana Jovović, and it had its world premiere in the Tiger competition at the Rotterdam Film Festival. Earlier this year, it also won a Heart of Sarajevo prize, and it had five nominations at the Adriatic awards.

Noomi Rapace won best actress for "Mother", directed by Teona Strugar Mitevska. "Mother" also had five nominations. Andrija Kuzmanović won best actor for "Yugo Florida", directed by Vladimir Tagić. Hana Jušić won best screenplay for "God Will Not Help", which also earned five nominations.

The Macedonian comedy "DJ Ahmet" led the field of nominees when the list was announced in September. Its director, Georgi M. Unkovski, saw his film's star, Arif Jakup, win the AFA Rising Star award for his role in it. The award goes to a promising newcomer.

The television prizes went to "The Hollow", created by Amra Bakšić Čamo and Danis Tanović, which won best TV series. Snežana Vidović and Feđa Štukan won the acting awards for their roles in the show.

The AFA Award for outstanding success in cinema distribution went to Igor Šeregi's "Wedding". Distribution is the work of getting a film into cinemas, and the award honours a film that did that well.

The awards are voted on by the Film and TV Academy of the Adriatic Region. More than 800 members took part in voting on the nominations and the winners. The academy was founded by the Sarajevo Film Festival, the Zagreb Film Festival and the Auteur Film Festival in Belgrade.
