Princess Catherine made a private visit to Dose of Nature in London, according to Hello! Magazine, which published its report on 27 October 2026.

Dose of Nature is a mental health charity. It offers what it calls Nature Prescriptions, clinically led programmes designed to improve mental health and wellbeing through time in nature, human connection and community.

During the visit, the Princess met Tom, a former participant who now works as a Nature Guide. The two spoke about how nature can be used to improve health outcomes. Tom described his own recovery, and the Princess told him that connecting with nature had improved her mental health and helped her heal. She said she felt the same healing he had described.

Her interest in the subject is not new. She has previously described nature as her "sanctuary", particularly during her cancer treatment in 2024. In a video released during Mental Health Awareness Week in 2025, she said the natural world has a boundless capacity to inspire, nurture, help heal and grow.

For anyone curious about the charity, the idea behind Nature Prescriptions is simple. People take part in guided time outdoors, often in groups, with the aim of improving how they feel. Tom's path from participant to guide shows one way the scheme can work from the inside, with those who have taken part later helping others join in.

The visit adds to a body of public remarks the Princess has made about nature and mental health over several years. Her comments in the 2025 video and the report of this private visit both focus on the same theme: the healing value she has personally found in the outdoors.
