A jury at Southwark Crown Court in London has found Tommy Robinson guilty of harassing two journalists, Reuters reported. The guilty verdicts were returned on October 28, 2026, on two counts of harassment causing fear of violence, the New York Times said.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, is 43 years old, according to the BBC. The two journalists he was found guilty of harassing were both from the Mail.

The verdicts were reached by a jury, a panel of members of the public who decide the outcome of a criminal trial. Jurors deliberated for 11 hours and 25 minutes, and the verdict on both harassment charges was returned by a majority of 10 jurors to two, Yahoo News reported.

Coverage describes Robinson in different terms. The Guardian and the New York Times describe him as a far-right activist, while Reuters describes him as a British anti-Islam activist.
