Jennifer Lopez's 'Love?' Gets Its First Vinyl Release for 15th Anniversary

Jennifer Lopez's 2011 album 'Love?' is getting its first-ever vinyl release, in three editions due in November. Billboard reported the reissue on Wednesday, 28 October, timed to the album's 15th anniversary.
The format is a first for the record. Vinyl is the long-playing record, the format that most music fans once bought in shops and that has come back strongly in recent years. Lopez's team has not yet announced the exact November release date.
The standard edition is a 12-track record, and it includes 'Proof of Love', a new dance song. Variety reports that Lopez is releasing 'Proof of Love' as a new single, so fans will hear it beyond the vinyl.
The deluxe edition is a two-record set, known as a 2LP, with 17 tracks. It is pressed on translucent royal blue vinyl, the kind you can see light through, and comes with new artwork. Five songs are added to the 12 on the standard edition: 'Hypnotico', 'Everybody's Girl', 'Charge Me Up', 'Take Care' and 'On the Floor (Ven a Bailar)'.
The third option is a colour edition exclusive to the retailer BILT, pressed on cherry red vinyl. Lopez's own Facebook post says all three versions are now open for pre-order. Pre-ordering means paying and reserving a copy before the record is released, which usually guarantees a copy on the day it ships.
'Love?' is worth a second look for chart watchers too. Its single 'On the Floor', featuring Pitbull, reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, the weekly chart that ranks songs using sales, radio plays and streams. That single is one of the reasons the album has stayed in conversation for fifteen years.
The reissue arrives a few months after another anniversary pressing. Earlier this year, Lopez offered a limited edition of her second album, 'JLO', to mark its 25th anniversary. That set was a 22-track deluxe package in a hardcover book, with an alternate cover, an autographed insert and a 20-page booklet.
Lopez also has a televised show coming up. 'The JLo Show: Live in Las Vegas' airs on CBS on 26 November at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, and it will stream on Paramount+ for subscribers.
For anyone who wants the album on vinyl, the practical step is simple: choose an edition, pre-order it, and wait for the November date. The standard edition has the shortest list, while the deluxe set adds five songs and a bigger package.
